  1. Very entertaining episode! I listened to almost all of it. I’m interested in this “Charlotte” show everyone was talking about, especially given the caveat of the character not showing up yet (?)

Unlike almost all anime fans, I don’t really have a desire to go to Japan. Being such a giant sports fan, all the “bucket list” places for me to visit are sports-related. Thus the only thing that would get me to Japan would be the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

I look forward to hearing what the Tangles podcast puts out in its second year of existence!

    1. Thanks for listening! Kaze and I are still a bit up-in-the-air with Charlotte so far, so watch at your own risk!

You are definitely unique in the anime-lover spectrum for that, I would say!

Yes, I can’t wait to see what year two has for us, too!

  2. Jack, stop playing the Sims. It’s just….uhh….I can’t play a game that does’t have a beginning, middle and end 🙁 Try some jRPG’s, they will be up your alley as an anime fan.

Nino Kuni is one I can recommend, it looks like a Ghibli film.

Anyways, great podcast guys, nice to hear everyone’s perspective.

    1. Haha, well to be fair all I play anymore these days are rhythm games. And the games that get the most attention in Japan are portable games as well. Like your average Japanese person, I just don’t have the time to sink into JRPGs like I used to.

      1. You have to try Crypt of the NecroDancer. It’s a rhythm game, but for PC/Playstation. I am a beast on DDR, but any well-to do Asian can take me to school on it. I can play on Heavy, about up to 7 “feet” on the difficulty. I should write up an article on DDR….not sure how though….. 🙂
