Hello, everyone! This is stardf29 here, and from here on out I will be the leader of the Beneath the Tangles Light Novel Club! I have been enjoying light novels a lot this past year, and I have especially enjoyed sharing in that love through the Light Novel Club, so I am very thankful for TWWK for letting me lead the club.

With that said, it’s time to pick the first title of the new year, and so I have decided to go with The Devil is a Part-Timer! There may be lots of light novels about people from our world ending up in fantasy worlds, but what happens when the tables get turned and people from a fantasy world end up in our world? And what if it’s not just any being, but the resident demon king and his  This light novel got a fairly popular anime adaptation some years ago, but if you aren’t familiar with it, Yen Press describes volume 1 of the series as such:
