This summer hasn’t delivered as many big movies (or had as many big receipts) as previous ones. Despicable Me 4 has premiered, so maybe that’ll help the season, and another animated movie, Inside Out 2, has been a huge hit with audiences and critics. Animation, huh?

This piece recalls Top Gun Maverick, which released two summers ago and was of course HUGE. I loved it, and I love that this work mashes it up with Genshin Impact!
