We welcome pitches for guest posts on any anime, manga, light novel, or aspect of otaku culture. Your pitch should be 150-200 words and will include a provisional title. The focus of the pitch will be on the connection you want to draw between your particular source (episode, series, issue, etc.) and the Christian faith. This could be, for example:
- a specific scripture you want to unpack
- a theme you want to explore that is related to faith
- a Christian approach to a specific problem or issue
- a testimony of how a show, manga, etc. had an impact on your own walk with God
- a question of faith that anime etc speaks to anything along those lines
We’re not looking for devotionals or Bible study-type pieces.
Your idea for a post should be substantial enough to develop into an essay of 1200-2500 words maximum. Please also provide a short bio that tells us why you’re the best person to write this post! Finally, please include links to two pieces you’ve written (guest posts on other sites, personal blogs, etc), or attach two writing samples written in the style that you will use for this piece.
