This week on The TangleCast, JP (Japesland), Kaze, and Jack (R86) talk about Erased (Boku Dake ga Inai Machi). Did it live up to its hyped expectations, or was it a disappointment? Each members brings his own perspective on the areas they did and did not like about the anime.
As always, every episode of The TangleCast will be covering a different topic, from anime reviews, to discussions on spirituality, to listener mail, and everything in between. First half was enjoyable even for critical viewers? My first big complaint was in ep 4. But I liked it overall, until the finale. Beautiful animation, lovely imagery (from a literary perspective as well as a visual perspective)… just a few big character/plot weaknesses, especially in the last two episodes. When it was good, it was really, really good. When it was bad… it was bad, but at least it was still pretty!
I would *not* say it’s family-friendly. No nudity or sexual stuff, which was nice. But there’s violence, suspense, and child abuse… yeah, this is for mature viewers only. But I’m sure all this came to mind as soon as you guys finished recording. ^_^
