The experience of watching Steins;gate, when it was originally released, was like no other. Before YouTube was huge and Twitter and Reddit were mainstays, bloggers were losing their minds week to week about this sci-fi, mystery masterpiece. It still holds up for many reasons, including for its characters, like the indomitable Kurisu.
