One of the coolest ministries in the otaku/nerd/gaming sphere is Love Thy Nerd, a non-profit that focuses on reaching out to geeks with all sorts of interests. The content they develop includes a number of podcasts, with my personal favorite being the NCMU (Nerd Culture Ministry Underground), where the hosts interview missionaries in the nerd culture realm. I was privileged to join one of the hosts, Bubba (who also runs LTN) on their most recent episode:

I want to also encourage anyone out there who is or is thinking of becoming a missionary/minister in the area of nerd culture to consider attending this year’s Nerd Culture Ministry Summit. It’s an awesome time of networking and learning about how to reach and care for nerds through digital ministry. This year, the summit is going to be held at a castle (really) in Colorado Springs. A couple of BtT staff will be attending!
