Today marks the 18th anniversary of the premiere of the Death Note anime. My oh my, how time flies! Did you watch the series when it came out? It seemed to be everyone’s favorite at the time—is it still one of yours?

It’s one of the best gateway anime! I watched it 10 years ago, and I really enjoyed it, and I still think the first part of the anime is very good.
Oh, I haven’t seen a mention of Death Note in quite a while. Very cool art! I really like the No-Line-Art style that is showing up more and more. It has a nice painterly look and makes otherwise harsh images look softer and more mysterious.
