Newman’s Nook: Astro’s Family

Official header image for Barrage manga showing Astro with the Org in his hand.

Two Similar, but Dissimilar Men Barrage was a short lived manga series from 2012 written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. The first man is the titular Barrage, prince of the land and… Read More Newman’s Nook: Astro’s Family

Newman’s Nook: Who is Your Family?

What is family? It’s a weird question to ask, but it’s one that Nyanbo! unintentionally answers throughout the series. The Nyanbo are a group of box-shaped anthropomorphic cats. The series takes a lot of interesting turns in its short-form silliness, but throughout the series we find the Nyanbo constantly coming back together to unite as… Read More Newman’s Nook: Who is Your Family?

Something always bugged me about Tom and Jerry. As a kid, I was unable to pinpoint what exactly I had against the show. As an… Read More Newman’s Nook: Getting Away with It

Classroom of the Elite is back!
[joseph] Anime Expo was truly on its own level. By some miracle, I was able to not collapse to the end 😅 I have a lot to say about it and I can ramble on for hours, but to start, here’s some of the amazing cosplay I saw!
The power of shoujo!
Season one of Rent-a-Girlfriend was a trainwreck, which is exactly what made it so much fun. It was bonkers in its audacity to make someone like Kazuya the protagonist, and unrepentant in how messed up he is while still giving him a harem.
