But actually, this was a good discussion. For the record, I say my last name as “RahMAHJ,” but my relatives down south say “RAMidge.”
I’m also hard-pressed to find positive portrayals of atheists/atheism largely because a lot of fiction I’ve come across doesn’t focus on that specifically. Tales of Symphonia comes to mind, though I might reframe that as tearing down an imitation of religion or spirituality rather than dismantling the actual thing. I ultimately don’t see that narrative as conflicting with a more genuine faith or spirituality, but don’t deny that on the surface it’s definitely friendly to agnostic or atheistic views.
Anyway, thanks for the shout out. I like this pure Q&A formula and it’d be cool to see it come back in the future.

lol I have to admit that’s a new one. I’ve gotten “Damage,” “Ravage,” ruhMAYJ,” and “Rahmaji.” It’s funny because it seems like a pretty simple name to me, but I guess it trips up other folks lol.
If people can mess up names, they will.

Hey Tangles, thanks for the podcast, it’s one of the shows I look forward to dropping on iTunes the most! This episode sent me to the “Our Values and Beliefs” section of the site, and I didn’t see anything about the bodily resurrection of Jesus where it spoke of critical points. Is this an issue for any of you? I think it’s an essential doctrinal belief when defining Christianity, and was wondering why it wasn’t there? Trust me, I’m not being pedantic- I just think it’s important to understand where people are coming from on such a fundamental issue. 🙂
