Thirty years ago, Meisei High School won the high baseball championship at Koshien, but since then, it hasn’t returned, and both the high school and middle school teams have become used to losing. Enter a pair of brothers, Toma and Soichiro, 8th graders who along with their sister could help Meisei once again reach championship heights.
Oh man, goosebumps in the opening minutes of this episode! I’m so excited to get another Adachi anime adaption, this one a sequel of sorts to Touch, a show few in the west have seen (I’ve watched about half of the series) by which is perhaps the most popular anime of all time in Japan. The set up is there: a quickly cast of characters, protagonists that are flawed and still easy to root for, and a long road ahead, with small obstacles at the forefront (including an arrogant pitcher whom the team manager appeases) and long road surely filled with more challenging road bumps ahead, including the possibility of death, a frequent and important occurrence in Adachi’s works, including Touch. I’m going to be nervously anticipating that as I continue with this show, one that I don’t think is going to let me down.

Today was a big day for me. I toured Wake Tech Community College with my dad. Then, we had lunch at BurgerFi. Finally, I went with my mom to see How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World(!) It was soooo good! 😀
P.S. I saw a movie poster for the new Code Geass movie coming out in May and thought of you (TWWK). 🙂
All that sounds awesome! Glad you had a great day! Oh, btw, I love BurgerFi’s garlic aioli!
Never tried it
Hey! How was the tour?
Great! It was nice seeing all the buildings.
Cool
