If you’ve been too cooped up at home to notice the rising temperatures outside, the fireflies and sharks in Animal Crossing: New Horizons should surely have made it known: Summer is here. And we want to know: What’s your favorite anime to watch during the summer and why?
Maybe that means a series that takes place in the summer and so evokes the season in a very obvious way, or which features some famous beach or onsen episode. Though it could also mean a series that feels like summer in some other way, or one which you simply like to stream during the season.

Well, I’ve been watching My Hero Academia with my brother lately, so I guess that’s my favorite Summer anime. 🙂

Haruhi! I’ll always remember the endless right as the quintaessential anime summer. Higurashi is a far more sinister kind of summer anime. And there’s the first season of Nagi no Asakura.
