Episode one of the new Netflix adaptation of Cowboy Bebop takes the viewers back to the initial episode of the anime, itself an homage to Robert Rodriguez’s Desperado, and immediately features the sharp acting on display throughout the series, including that of Lydia Peckham—who plays Katerina, a poised, mysterious young woman whose boyfriend is mixed up in a Syndicate double-cross as the couple tries to escape off-planet.
Peckham, whose credits include a part in Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s Mr. Corman and a lead role in the Chinese love drama, Only Cloud Knows (Zhi you yun zhi dao), will join us live from her home base in New Zealand on Instagram this Wednesday, December 1st at 4 p.m. ET (Thursday, Dec. 2 at 10:00 a.m. NZT)!
