AniMarch Madness 2026: Play-in Matches

AniMarch Madness is here!

Well, almost. The tournament begins a week from today, on March 2nd. But first, we need to determine the field of 64, and to help us do that, you get to vote today on play-in matches for the final few spots!

Here are the play-in matches:

Action / Sci-Fi / Horror Region

Kaiju No. 8 vs. Fairy Tail

Romance / Comedy / Sports Region

My Dress-up Darling vs. Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai
Horimiya vs. Skip and Loafer

The voting is open! Head over to our Discord server or Instagram to vote on these nine play-in matches. All voting will happen on those platforms throughout the tournament.

And then come back to the blog on Thursday, when we reveal the full slate of 64 anime!
