Win a Rem Figure and Re:Zero Light Novels as Our Patreon Drive Begins!

Starting today and running through Friday, April 20th, we’ll be having our Spring 2018 Patreon Drive. I’m really excited about it, not only because it offers us a chance to partner with you, but because I’ve picked out some really cool prizes that new patrons can win if you join us during the next two weeks!

I absolutely love what we’re doing with with our Patreon account. There we offer behind-the-scenes insights to our Patrons and exclusive goodies, like photos from our recent trip to Anime Matsuri and videos before they hit our social media accounts. Most exciting is that all of your funds go directly toward helping us develop content and spread the word, and that we’re able to give back to you, too, through our different membership levels:

  • KAGE ($25/month): At our top level, our Kage level patrons will help us quickly reach our goals of expansion and engagement on Beneath the Tangles. In return, we’ll send you a POP figure of one of your favorite series each year, starting the month after you commit, as well as other anime goodies (value of about $10) each quarter.
  • JOUNIN ($10/month): Jounin patrons will play an immense role in moving us toward our desire to reach otaku who haven’t thought much about how the possible intersection between faith and anime. As a thank you, we’ll annually send you a POP figure of one of your favorite series, starting the month after you join.
  • CHUUNIN ($5/month): Our Chuunin level patrons help the site keep going, graciously providing for the site’s general needs. As with all of these levels, bronze patrons will receive special insights that show you how Beneath the Tangles operates behind the scenes.

While a donation in any amount is gladly accepted, those who meet one of the categories above will be entered into our grand prize for this drive: a MAX FACTORY Rem figure! It is absolutely lovely. I want to keep it myself, but I want to give it out even more! There are runner-up prizes, too: the Re:ZERO The Dream of the Lion King light novel (volume one) and volume six of the regular Re:ZERO light novel series. Kage patrons will receive five entries toward the prize; jounin will receive two; and chuunin, one.
