Happy Thanksgiving from Beneath the Tangles!

Gobble, gobble folks! Happy Thanksgiving! As you watch Goku fly over New York City, root on your favorite football teams (Go Bears!), and chow down on turkey and the fixins, we at Beneath the Tangles hope that you’re also spending precious time with loved ones. It’s often challenging and uncomfortable to be with family, but here’s hoping that the holiday is meaningful for you.

I want to also take this opportunity to say give thanks for all the folks that make Beneath the Tangles what it is. We are of course first and foremost a Christian site, and we are thankful to God for letting us participate with him in this cool ministry. I’m also thankful for a wonderful staff filled with writers, podcasters, columnists, and folks behind the scenes who volunteer so much time and effort toward this ministry. You rock!

And of course, I’m thankful to all our readers and followers. We do what we do in large part because of and for you. So thanks for riding along with us, and I hope we continue to develop content that engages you and makes you think about anime, life, and relationships. And a special thanks to those who have really developed a relationship with us through commenting. Many of you are more than followers—you’re friends.

Finally, I’m thankful for all those who contribute to us financially. We’ve grown so much over the past few years in large part because of donations, which allows us to market (sparingly) our brand and develop content we never have before, expanding our reach and hopefully giving you a variety of interesting pieces to read. I am so thankful to those who give through Patreon and Ko-Fi, and anonymous benefactors as well.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

  1. Very good blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own website soon but I’m a little
lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like
Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many
choices out there that I’m totally overwhelmed ..

    Any tips? Appreciate it!
