So we’ve decided that the next Light Novel Club title will be the final volume of True Tenchi Muyo!, since it’s a great opportunity to finish off an entire series. That said, since I haven’t been reading this particular series, TWWK will be handling discussion on his own. So this is a great time to take a break, right?
Well, I figured why not do something fun, then?
Those of you who follow me on Twitter know I have a New Year’s resolution to read 100 novels in 2019, with the vast majority of those being light novels. You can check out all the novels I’ve read so far in this Twitter thread. It’s been a fun project, and as of the time of writing this post, I have read 42 novel volumes out of 100, putting me well ahead of pace.
So while I have some breathing room, I’m going to hold a little Q&A session! In the comments, go ahead and ask me any questions you want regarding my quest to read 100 novels, or anything about light novels, really. (You can also ask questions at any of Beneath the Tangles’ social media accounts, or even on my own Twitter account.) Then, on May 29th, I’ll post my answers to those questions (or if there aren’t enough questions, some general talk about my 100-novel project).
What do you want to know about light novels, or what it’s like to try to read 100 novels in a year? Ask away!

What got you into reading Light Novels? Maybe you already answered that so you can redirect me to the right post?
Also, do you find they are better than watching anime, like when people compare reading the book is better than the movie? I’ve never been into light novels as it would take less time to just watch the anime, for me.
100 novels? That’s a lot!
What examples of LNs that were better than the anime? What are some cases where the anime adaptation was superior to the LNs?
Cool!
🙂
