Diversity in P.A. Works’ Appare-Ranman: Video Interview with ADR Directors, Caitlin Glass and Shawn Gann

Appare-Ranman, one of last season’s notable anime, has begun to receive the ADR treatment from Funimation. Each Friday, the company is releasing an English-dubbed episode of the P.A. Works series, which features a samurai and an inventor from Japan who team up on a transcontinental race across turn of the 20th-century America. Twwk (Charles) sat down with ADR director and voice actress, Caitlin Glass, and assistant ADR director, Shawn Gann, to talk about the unique casting process for the series, what an assistant director does, and the diversity represented both in the anime itself and among the cast.

We encourage you check out the series on Funimation and follow the Twitter and Instagram accounts for Caitlin (Twitter / Insta) and Shawn (Twitter / Insta)!
