What Fall 2020 Anime Are You Most Looking Forward To?

The new anime season is upon us! The first episode of the first new series of the season (the remake of Higurashi) drops this Thursday—can you believe it? And it should be an interesting fall, a leveling up in quality judging by the names involved (and perhaps a result of the industry catching up after all the COVID-19 delays). Some of the series this season include:

  • Burn the Witch, a movie based on the manga by Tite Kubo, and set to air in three parts on Crunchyroll
  • The Inuyasha spin-off series, Yashahime
  • Jun Maeda’s latest, The Day I Became a God
  • New seasons of Haikyuu, Danmachi, Golden Kamuy, Osomatsu-san, and Is the Order a Rabbit?
  • Light novel adaptations like Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World and Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear
  • The previously mentioned remake of Higurashi
  • The adaptation of Tonikawa, which we’ve been reading through
  • Noblesse, based on the webtoon
  • A Dragon Quest anime series
  • And so much more!

We’ll be covering a ton of these shows in our usual first impression posts, so stay tuned to the blog! And let us know what you’re looking forward to in the comments below. Which shows are you anticipating most this fall season?
