2022 is almost at an end! We’re happy that you’ve been a part of our grand adventure this past year. We added Tiktok to our platforms, relaunched the Tangle x Cast, reviewed hundreds of manga and light novels, gave you our initial thoughts on dozens of anime airing each season, crowned a new champion in AniMarch Madness, guided you through the 12 Days of Christmas Anime, bonded deeper in community through Discord, grew our other social media platforms, and so much more!
To say that it’s been busy is an understatement, which is precisely why our staff is taking a week to just slow down and rest. During this final week of 2022, many of us will be going on a ministry fast to take a break and simply seek the LORD.
What does that mean for you? Well, we still have posts queued up for this week on the blog and on a few other platforms, but mostly, what you’ll see is nothing. Silence. We choose to end the year quietly, resting in His peace instead of leaning on our own work and strength, which is what ministry can become.
But please stick with us! 2023 is already shaping up to be an exciting year. In the coming weeks, we’ll be posting first impressions for the winter 2023 anime season, feature a guest post on Chainsaw Man from one of our old friends, explain what it was like to attend an 18+ anime convention, examine in detail some of the most interesting anime of fall 2022, and review the latest Rascal Does Not Dream light novel. And that’s just in January!
