Round two of AniMarch Madness 2025 has begun!
Our 64-anime, single-elimination, community-voted tournament began with a bang with round one last week. Some of the series expected to do well showed why they’re favorites, like last year’s winner, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, which grabbed 92% of the vote in its match, the same as The Apothecary Diaries, another fav; Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and Cowboy Bebop, “old timers” that still show their strength; Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen, neither of which has won the tourney yet but could do so this year; and past winners (and still powerhouses), Spy x Family and Violet Evergarden.
There were upsets, too, like Steins;gate slaying Attack on Titan, Yona of the Dawn spiking Haikyuu out of the tournament, and Mob Psycho 100 blowing Naruto Shippuden away. But there was no bigger surprised than #2 seed My Hero Academia losing to One Punch Man (even before the recent news about its new season!).
There are 32 anime left and by the end of Thursday, only 16 will remain. Check out our updated bracket:

You can only vote through Facebook and Discord, with four matches dropping each day from today through Thursday. Be sure to follow our AniMarch Madness Facebook page and to join our Discord community so that you can participate!

Aww, really sad I can’t vote on the website.
