Our BtT-Chan Art Challenge Concludes This Friday!

Our first-ever art challenge has almost come to a close!

Friends from Mastodon, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, and Discord have all submitted their version of BtT-chan for our special group of judges to review and award prizes to! But we’re still looking for a few more!

Check out our own artist, Zion’s, version of BtT-chan!

For those who are unaware, we’ve teamed up with partner and friend Arthur Thurmond to roll out our logo character, BtT-chan, in a greater capacity, and are asking all levels of artists out there to draw your own version of her by midnight ET on May 24th, post it on Mastodon, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, or Discord, and tag your post with the hashtag, #BtTChanChallenge.

The grand prize winner will receive a $100 Crunchyroll gift card (or of equivalent USD value to an anime/manga store local to the winner) and the “Spirit of BtT” prize winner, going to the work that best represents Beneath the Tangles, will get one worth $40.

Here are the other contest rules:

  • You must be following us on the platform on which you post your entry (and if entering on Twitter or Instagram, following Arthur there, too)
  • Keep it “clean”—no sexual, bloody, or violent entries, please!
  • Entries must be posted by 11:59 p.m. ET on May 24th
  • Hashtag your post “#BtTChanChallenge”
  • International entries are welcome
  • BtT staff are not eligible

By entering the contest, you agree to allow Beneath the Tangles to post your art on this website and our platforms. We will always credit you when doing so and link to your account as possible. You retain all rights to your art.
