Convention season is in full swing! That means we’ll be heading out as a staff to cover several of the conventions (and a film festival, too?) this summer season. First up is A-Kon, the huge Dallas convention that bills itself as the oldest still-running anime event in the U.S.

Wow, this looks awesome! I totally should have planned my trip to Texas to match up with A-Kon! I was near Dallas just a month ago. Next time I’m visiting relatives there, I’ll have to check the dates for A-kon.
I’m hoping that I’ll be able to go to a convention this summer, but I kind of already spent all my travel monies for the year, so any convention I go to will have to be close to home in the Pacific Northwest.
I just went to Anime North last weekend, and it was… very interesting to say the least for the first post-Covfefe convention out there. Might check out Fan Expo in August as well.
