7. My Hero Academia (season 4)
Season four of My Hero Academia, likely the most popularly anticipated series of 2019, continues the show’s mixture of high-energy, shounen entertainment mixed with well-developed characters and smart storylines. Season four introduces a new villain and very serious dangers, with the violent power of Overhaul and a discomfort involving All Might and Deku lying over the viewer’s heads the entire way. These additions make for an unsettling and captivating cour.
