Our podcast is back with a new format, new hosts, and a new name! We’re proud to introduce to you Tangle x Cast, the latest version of the Beneath the Tangles podcast! Tyler, Mike, and Paris are the hosts, and they’re excited to talk to you more specifically about the crossover between anime (and other Japanese properties) and faith than we have in previous iterations of this podcast.
In today’s introductory episode, our hosts each give their “origin story,” explaining how they found anime, manga, and/or cosplay, as well as providing their personal testimonies. So sit back, listen, subscribe, and start learning about our new team!

I wonder if you guys have dealt with other Christians being concerned about your enjoyment of anime? I know I’ve had to explain to some concerned parents at church. XD
I’m not one of the podcasters, but just my 2 cents. That does happen, and I think a good way is to explain why you enjoy it and show them some toned down shows. I wouldn’t show a newbie to anime a show that has too much violence, fan service, etc. or if it’s an odd one because that might push them more away from the media.
